Holiday Open House 2009
Every year, the 15 rooms in the Ainsley House get decorated by local merchants and volunteers. Every year, they surprise and delight us with their wonderful creations.
Join us on a photographic tour of some of the rooms from the 2009 Holiday season (and mark your calendars to come join us at the Holiday Open House in 2010 so you can see these beautiful decorations up close and personal.)
The tour starts at the front of the house which has been decorated and lit for the season. A friendly greeter will meet you at the door and hand you a program if you don’t already have one.

The Living Room
The decorators did a lovely job on the living room, bringing the warmth of the room out, making it look opulent but still a family friendly area. Imagine a house full of family enjoying a traditional Christmas.
Sunporch
Megan Sempek from Just Junk worked her magic on the sunporch and gave a a room that was festive but natural, well suited to an area where the outdoors and indoors meet.
Dining Room
Artfully put together by Not Just Cheesecakes and Mamma Mia’s Italian Restaurant (Traci DiMiceli), the dining room is full of surprises, from the table centerpiece, to the mini cheese platters used as decorations.
Breakfast Room
Angela Grilli, Staging Consultant used stunning colors, textures and lighting in the breakfast room giving it an opulent feel.

Upper Foyer
Julie DeVere and Paula Allen decorated the upper foyer in shades of blue and gold to give the area a rich, warm feeling.
Master Bedroom, Writing Room and Dressing Room
Also decorated by Julie DeVere and Paula Allen, the master bedroom was decorated with a colorful nutcracker theme. Gold ribbon swirled richly round the tree complement gold accents throughout the room.
Part of the master bedroom suite is Mrs Ainsley’s dressing room - a room any woman would love attached to their bedroom. Decorated in pink to bring out the little girl in all of us.
